Tisdale will host Simon Mafunda, the Global Methodist Church Africa Director Saturday, October 5.

We will begin with a presentation by Simon at 4:00 pm in the church sanctuary followed by a pot-luck supper. Meat will be furnished. Bring a side and/or a dessert to share. Area GMC churches are also invited to join us.

Simon will speak about GMC developments in Africa, the needs there, and a potential partnership with a new GMC congregation in Harare, Zimbabwe. Simon will be visiting the United States following the GMC General Conference in Costa Rica before he returns to Africa. We are pleased to be asked to host him while he is here! Everyone is welcome to attend. A free-will offering for Simon will be received.
